Losing Stef has left a huge hole in the lives of everyone who knew him, mine included. Having worked alongside him for fourteen years I got to know a great man; one who gained my respect and admiration. What struck me about him was his range of temperament; confident and tenacious yet sympathetic, caring and fun to be around. I am indebted to him for his attentive and nurturing management starting from my apprentice days as a designer and which extended to the whole department garnering steadfast loyalty from the whole team. I will miss his anecdotes, vast knowledge of all things aviation and a remarkable ability to remember the exact date and location of innumerable happenings!
